Come along to our Afternoon Tea with the Bees to experience practical beekeeping, queen spotting, and hold thousands of bees in your hands.
I do a quick introduction talk into beekeeping, showing you the different castes of bees in a beehive, plus their lifecycles, then we get dressed into bee-suits, light a smoker and open a beehive together. Then we go back inside for afternoon tea and I will answer your questions about beekeeping.
Great for people who want to try out beekeeping before they ‘commit’ or anyone who would like the one-off experience.
